The @EnvAgencyYNE #SheafScreen in #Sheffield is coming along nicely. Most of the major civils works are now complete and control panels installed, next steps are the debris grabs, electrical wiring, welfare provision and the final user testing. Due for completion mid 2021.

Today I visited #SheafScreen in #Sheffield, it’s a brand new flood defence under construction, it should be finished early in 2021. The old #flooddefence was built in the 90’s & had a challenging 30 years, the new defence will help defend Sheffield & infrastructure from flooding
