@Browns And to give him the keys means the @browns should trade him. Send him somewhere that can for fill the awards of having an outstanding college career: a good rookie season and being a model employee to the organization.

As the trade deadline gets closer, and as the @Browns make it clear that the now is Watson. To those watching and buy merchandise— it is clear that this organization is using #sheduersanders to sell merchandise.

Todd Monken explained that Deshaun Watson showed more of his top-end ability than Shedeur Sanders in practice, praising Watson’s hard work to return to form and noting how his improved play has given Browns fans renewed optimism. "I think what we saw as a collective staff was his best. I think you try to look at what a player's best is and then try to minimize the weaknesses. I think that's with every player. I think that's what we saw with Deshaun. It wasn't like Shedeur didn't have his fair share of great plays, but we just saw a little bit more from Deshaun at the top end. It's a work in progress. We're always under construction. So here we go from being booed, to they don't want him as the starter, to we're playing the Steelers, and we introduce him last coming out of the tunnel, and they cheer the heck out of him. And that just goes to tell you what our fans really want. They want good football. They want our players to play well. They want something to cheer about, something that gives them optimism. I think Deshaun has worked awfully hard to get back to where he's at 22 months." (via @thepivot)

Why people or #SheduerSanders fans have been blowing the horn on trading him. 1: The organization doesn’t trust him, to give him the keys; while treating as the franchise. 2: media spotlight is chewing up every action because a coach mad him an insurance policy. More in comments

Exactly. #ToddMonken, could be doing the exact same thing with #sheduersanders; and the problem is: Monken didn’t trust Sanders enough to give him the keys. And that trust is based on experience. This is the same thing that happened to Mcarthy. More in comments!

T.J. Ward isn’t sold on Deshaun Watson cementing his future as Cleveland’s QB1, break. He breaks down why Todd Monken could pull off the same results with Shedeur Sanders after defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers on TNF “Deshaun is playing well... but he ain’t playing THAT well.” 😳 “Deshaun is in his contract year. Now you got options, right? We got Shedeur here. Do we pay Deshaun Watson the bag? I think Monken could do that with Shedeur, I’m not even gonna hold you.” “Don’t get me wrong, he playing some good football. But he ain’t doing sh*t that’s just like, ‘OH SH*T! Did you see that play?!’ He missed a wide-open Fannin late in the game, he fumbled in another critical situation—lucky he recovered it—and threw an interception.” Is T.J. right about Watson, or should Cleveland lock him down & start Shedeur next szn? @RexRyanOfficial Always have harsh words for Shedeur like its personal with him. Did have any words for Jaxson Dart's Trump rally speech or Scatteboo almost breaking his leg doing a backflip on stage? Does he know we can see his disparity? @ShedeurSanders #nfl #SheduerSanders
