When the storms hit the poorest communities in Missouri on Friday and we watched familiar places just disappear into piles of insulation and metal, we prayed for the people and in prayer were reminded that WE are the hands and feet of Christ. But we are a very small church so I reached out to some religious organizations who said it was "too soon" to help. I prayed. I felt led to not just watch but "DO SOMETHING NOW". So, we leaned into that call and asked God to help us in some small way bless the people hurting the most with a fundraiser. Thanks to our faith in Jesus and the kindness of strangers, in 24 hrs a small congregation in a 100 year old church building that just a couple years ago was about to close, raised almost 2,000.00 online which will ALL go to food and supplies for those in need to be delivered this weekend and next. Thank you to all who have given and thank you to our brother in Christ @RINOhunter1776
Looks like some of the “grassroots” are upset bc their champions voted for this garbage legislation - and instead of chastising them for it - they want the exposure to stop.
