When planning lessons, we shouldn't plan 'what' students should think but rather than 'that' they will think. @JohnAntonetti #ShowMePD20
Got a student that's stuck and doesnt know where to start? "You can go for a walk but never stop". Students can walk around looking at other people's work until they see something that gives them an idea where to start...but no stopping! @JohnAntonetti #showmepd20 @HOMRPDC

Tech can enhance learning, creation, etc, but should only be inserted into lesson-planning after determining learning targets and strategies. #BoldSchool
Want to help students learn to retell a story? Break the scenes apart and have students put them in order. Then, increase rigor & depend learning by adding dialogue. For example in which scene would Cinderella say "You've got to be kidding me!?" #showmepd20 @JohnAntonetti
Speaking the truth: The technology is just a tool. If the task isn't engaging, the students engage in the technology instead. @JohnAntonetti
