Let’s be honest, InfoFi is one of the most promising ideas on CT.
But right now, it still feels easy to game, farm, and fake.
Here’s where the cracks are and how @xeetdotai can fix them.

InfoFi should be about surfacing the most valuable thinkers, not the loudest threadfarmers.
But currently, it still rewards: • Copy-paste takes
• Engagement groups
• Shill threads with no substance
We can do better.

The core issue:
The algorithm is measuring engagement velocity, not idea velocity.
Just because a tweet goes viral, doesn’t mean it’s meaningful.
We need a scoring system that detects depth, not just volume.

Suggestions for @xeetdotai:
✅ Weight quote tweets from trusted users more
✅ Devalue engagement from known bot rings
✅ Boost accounts with consistent originality
✅ Add negative signal to overused formats (templates, fake GM raids)

InfoFi also needs a project layer filter.
Right now, any project can be farmed for leaderboard points.
But most vanish after TGE or do nothing with the exposure.
Let’s reward projects that: ✅ Stay post-launch
✅ Support creators long-term
✅ Have actual users

Another issue:
Volume ≠ value.
Posting 5 threads/day should not be more valuable than 1 tweet that sparks 20 quote tweets.
We need to reward ripple, not just repetition.

That’s where a system like ethos becomes critical.
Trust-weighted engagement.
Echoes from high-reputation profiles.
Vouches = context.
If InfoFi is the feed, Ethos should be the signal amplifier.
Critique isn’t hate, it’s care.
InfoFi is powerful.
But if it continues rewarding spam, it loses meaning.
@xeetdotai has a real shot at building the layer that ranks influence, not noise.
