A few months ago I started following quiet breadcrumbs: a patent trail, an obscure acquisition press release.
— Messier 42 LLC (M42).
What I found is an AI platform that uses deep math and behavioral science to predict and shape human decisions at scale.
Same core engine runs in hospitals, war rooms, casinos, power grids, and now even national lotteries. Wildly ambitious, yet it appears to actually work.
Michael Sandoval (Former Microsoft) is chief scientist at M42 and Melvin Greer (Intel) is on the advisory board.
The breadcrumbs turned into a full trail this year:
August → full acquisition of Q-AI and its legendary research team (Michael Sandoval, 20+ patents, ex-Atigeo founder)
October → minority stake in Epirus (the counter-drone company winning big DoD contracts)
October → investment in one of the largest undeveloped rare-earth/polymetallic deposits in the western U.S.
November → partnership with Constellation Network + DFNN to launch the world’s first regulated blockchain-crypto national lottery in the Philippines
Private money clearly loves what they’re doing. No SPAC theatrics, no endless funding announcements — just rapid, strategic execution.
If you’re in AI, defense tech, critical minerals, or regulated gaming, M42 is worth putting on your radar.
I expect we’ll hear a lot more from them in 2026.

Yesterday was the biggest split in almost 40 years.
