To sharpen our #SmashReservation demand, we must read & study the sources that nourish quotawad or the false narrative that GCs exploited doolits.
A few minutes ago, I located Lord Lothian's report on untouchability(thanks @neha_laldas for mentioning Lothian) and bro, this report was an eye opener!
Lothian's (Philip of Kent) job was simple; to determine and thereby strengthen Doolits' narrative that they we re being exploited > and then make a case of self -government.
Promoting self governance wasn't some holy act that the Brits were aiming for; it was to weaken Congress' nationalistic politics by bringing in the colonial government's Doolit supporters.
And this is how Ambedkar was para-dropped in our politics; He became the biggest champion of Britain and British masters and pushed the narrative that Brahmins and other GCs 'exploited' Depressed Classes.

जब आरक्षित वर्ग के लोग सबसे ज़्यादा जातिवाद करते हैं तो किस मुंह से जातिवाद की कहानियां सुना कर GC को guilt trip में डालते हो? तो GC इस hypocrisy पर क्यों न बोले?
अमीर लोग आरक्षण लें, और फ़ोटो तुम सीवर साफ करने वाले की दिखाओ! और GC को नीचा दिखाओ कि वो सामाजिक न्याय के खिलाफ हैं!
तो GC क्यों नहीं इस ड्रामेबाजी पर बोलें?
तो आरक्षण में सुधार लाओ, अपनी कमियां हमपर थोपना बंद करो!
और हमको पूरा हक है कि हम सबकी बात उठायें! और जिनको भी आरक्षण सुधार चाहिए, उनका पूरा स्वागत है! लेकिन आंदोलन शुरू जिन्होंने किया है उनकी बात ज़रूर सुनी जाएगी, बिना उसके आंदोलन खत्म नहीं होने वाला🙏
