Congratulations to the three #SmithCommerce students who took home top honours at the annual Dunin-Deshpande Queen's #Innovation Centre (@DDQIC) Summer #Pitch competition held in August.
Marcus Wright-Smith, Comm'24, along with co-founders Jasmine Wu, Azeem Khan, and Theo Lemay placed first with Monarch Informatics, winning $20,000 in funding. Evan Ferreira, Comm'27, and Emmett Gibbens, Comm'26, along with co-founders Joseph Liao and Hussein Tahan placed second with Local Reach, securing $10,000 in funding.
