@BohnJen A7: The Iceberg tool lays out dimensional thinking by recognizing and reacting to the problem, designing solutions and transforming the situation. #SocInnChat
A7: systems archetypes is the pattern of behaviors of the parts that are making up the systems. This tool will allow us to understand how social change can be achieved when behaviors of different parts are changed in certain ways. #socinnchat

A6: Take #homelessness: social policies that have tried to solve the problem of homelessness over so many years. This is because social policies look at the surface and address symptoms. This is another difference between conventional and systems thinking #socinnchat
A6: To reiterate, I think social policies often aim to solve the symptoms of root problems, rather than address the root causes. #SocInnChat

A5: because the thinking in designing policies is conventional rather than systems. People sometimes think that in doing systems thinking they need to change systems. Systems thinking is not about changing systems. It's about designing better social policies #socinnchat
