For some time I was a little bit away from Twitter thus haven't mentioned one excellent book I'm going to give a short review today. This year I've met two ideas that expanded my perception of programming significantly.

Another language neutral metric proposed by #SoftwareDesignXRays is indentation-based complexity metric. To calculate it we count the leading tabs and whitespaces to convert them into logical indentations which are used then to reason about #complexity.
