The Crescent Dunes Solar Project, BLM lands near Tonopah, NV has new owners and operates 40 to 50 % of the time. We found out it burned this golden eagle 2 years ago in the deadly radiant #solarflux of the receiver tower. It did not survive.

BREAKING SWx NEWS: The SIDC sunspot number (SSN) exceeds 100 again. It is currently at 110 and may go higher as helioseismology indicates more active regions to come over the east limb in the next week. The question is: Will the SSN exceed last month's high of 150? Stay tuned.
