Todays big pick for the @mcsuk #SourceToSea survey was from the pit of doom #Dudbride #Stroud. Over 800 items dominated by part buried #plastic wrappers & forecourt gloves. Unlikely to reach the sea but still a mess. A windblown #Β£20 find made the day.

My final count came in at 1,823 #litter items topped by plastics. Shredded litter & car reflectors from shunts makes my blood boil & after this lot it's evaporated π«€. So much #microplastics left on the A38 & A419 #Gloucestershire though.

Set off from Slade Green to walk back to our base near the Dartford Crossing on our #sourcetosea walk along the Thames. Storm Benjamin was forecast to give high winds and heavy rain but in the end it was fairly dry and just quite blustery - had much worse on the @swcoastpath
Back again for the final part of our walk from #sourcetosea
Definitely getting to the gritty end of the river. Lots of semi-derelict industry and certainly no gentrification once we left Woolwich Arsenal behind.
