EEK! This is a black dragonfish. These #SpookySeaCreatures live in the depths of the ocean. In the larva stage, the eyes of the larvae appear as long stalks that dangle out of the body. Eventually, they retreat as the fish ages and reaches maturity... 😬👻🦈

So, as you may know I'm on this #SpookySeaCreatures kick. Does this Axolotl fall into that category? What makes these creatures so unique is their ability to regenerate. You can completely cut off a limb (please don't) and it will regenerate, like nothing ever happened! 😬👻🦈
