Dropping almost 5.5% from the previous record (25 Sept 2022), a new minimum demand record of 11,892 MW was set in the NEM at 11am (AEST) on Sunday. At the time, renewable generation contributed 67% of underlying demand, of which 45% was rooftop solar.

#WesternAustralia's minimum operational demand record was broken on Saturday (683 MW) and then again on Sunday (626MW), dropping 11.5% from the previous record set last week (707MW). At the time, estimated rooftop solar provided a record 74% of underlying demand. #Springtrend
