#Stairleds update: after messing around with it all night yesterday to debug no contents in my LittleFS partition I yanked the ESP32 specific tool install from arduino IDE so it uses the ESP8266 version of mklittlefs and now the new sensor works!
Out with the old in with the new shit!
Lets hook this up to 5v and see if it works

@Ingenuitas1 I just decided it'll be hardware hacking. On the next iteration of the stairled sensors (which shouldn't fry itself in about a month)

Welp, #stairleds update: the raspi zero w crashes when I try to have it be both a captive portal wifi ap and the stairled server..
So the obvious solution is to just add another esp8266 that'll be just WiFi and captive portal ππ
When in doubt, add more compute

I think I squashed the last bug in my code. I also confirmed this version doesn't trigger by cats testing how fast they can run up and down stairs at 03:30 π€£
It's glorious if I say so myself

Temporary mounted the upstairs sensor, need to tweak the order and my fadeout code, but the system works! πͺππ₯³

Got the sensor temp wired in, it's going to get a spot where the cats won't trigger it tomorrow, and it needs a better power supply than this crappy usb charger it's on now to fix the fades but its working! #stairleds
Debugging my stairs π. #StairLEDs coming soon to @Plastibots.com along with finished basement with lots of DIY #IoT goodies. Stay tuned.
