I’m being told by someone familiar with the IDOC that an explanation for the 6-8 weeks of no contact for RA could very likely be suicide watch. They also stated that they have never heard of anyone going to RDC that quickly or going through RDC to a home jail in that short of time. It is usually 4-6 weeks, sometimes longer. Also because he was already in DOC, he wouldn’t have that one week waiting period to add numbers to his contacts, they stay approved even when there has been years between incarceration.
