Weeks like this are tough.
They make you question everything. Did I waste my time and money for nothing? Is everything going to zero?
Why is this happening? Is the 4-year cycle dead? Is the AI buildout sucking all liquidity from the markets? Or is it the SpaceX IPO? Maybe, peace in the Middle East will fix things? Maybe “clarity” will? Is this the last shakeout, before breakout?
Let’s face it. Few of us, if any, have the time to keep up with all this!!
And as bad as everything seems right now, there’s certainly a much more positive side to everything.
Banks and institutions are gearing up, behind the scenes, to enter blockchain in a big way. The agentic economy is picking up momentum. The SEC boldly claims everything will be tokenized in 2 years from now. BlackRock wants everything tokenized next week.
It can’t be all bad, then.
For me personally, it’s always about filtering out the noise and focus on the fundamentals. And @COTInetwork fundamentals are steadily improving.
Just this week, The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance attended a seminar on Agentic Finance, hosted by Microsoft and attended by Amazon, Coinbase, Mastercard, Stripe and many more. Big names and a great example of what’s going on - behind the (negative) headlines they’re all staffing up to make they don’t get left behind in this wave of tokenizing everything and AI agents taking over.
I have long been bullish on our close corporation with @EntEthAlliance - both in terms of our work in the Privacy Working Group and the position we will find ourselves in, once GCevm goes live on $eth mainnet and becomes a native feature for the entire ecosystem.
And this is just the beginning. More full chain integrations are coming. COTI Nightfall will prove a very shrewd move.
And when the rest of the world starts taking more serious look at blockchain, $coti will be in the mix.
In the meantime, markets will do their thing. You or I can’t do much about that.
It’s of course incredibly damaging, with many projects struggling to stay afloat in these conditions. No doubt about that.
That said, I am always optimistic. I think the COTI team are doing a great job in challenging circumstances. Products and features being shipped at a regular clip - something we will grow to appreciate further down the line, when the dust settles.
But that’s just me!
