Obviously family know, & doctors who need to know, & very trusted others. Online it involves anonymity & good infosec

@shadipetosky Alice transitioned about 10yrs later & went on to run conferences & be a therapist, but in '72 she'd been on the brink for decades, coming up to London to be her for evenings; very matronly. My mentor had done the same for longer still. I guess they held #stealthtrans me in awe.

@oh_rarl @Kinnon_Ross As a #StealthTrans woman I find the whole being asked pronouns thing anxiety/dysphoria-inducing. The only people who want pronouns to be a big thing seem to be Non-binary/gender fluid people who want to be "out" all the time anyway, it seems.
