The biggest scam at the BOM has been to shrink the size of the Stevenson Screens - the white louvred boxes which house the thermometers - reducing them in volumetric size by 70%.
The BOM pretend that this equipment change to the smaller Stevenson Screen has had no effect on the temperatures being recorded, ignoring the peer reviewed science that shows the smaller screens measure an average 0.54°C hotter temperatures over a year and 1.7°C in summer.
This has change in equipment has cooked Australia’s time-series climate temperature record.
