Yesterday Year 6 had a wonderful afternoon learning about the life and art work of local artist Micheal Pritchard.
They will be using this knowledge to recreate some artwork based on the #Potteries
Looking forward to watching @OLCAFenton Yr5 class perform #EpicFail @FentonTownHall. This residency has encouraged the pupils to explore creativity, build confidence and reflective learning. It also aligns with the school’s #StokeCurriculum which promotes local cultural heritage.

@OLCAFenton Last week’s Christmas card inspiration came from Wassily Kandinsky and Potteries-born Arthur Berry. This week, it’s Gustav Klimt and Sid Kirkham’s depiction of industrial heritage. All part of the broad and balanced creative #StokeCurriculum approach in the happy, engaged school.

At .@OLCAFenton the mission and ethos of the school is embedded in the creative #StokeCurriculum which is inclusive of all aspects of every pupil’s learning experience and personal development journey as shown in these recent pictures.
Important to stress that pupils are supported to complete the #11by11 by referencing elements of the school’s carefully designed and mapped #StokeCurriculum which encourages them to discover, explore and connect with the city’s rich culture and heritage.
