ASEAN Regional Coalition to #StopDigitalDictatorship is a group of Southeast Asian human rights organisations that are teaming up to resist attacks on our online democracies. The upcoming X Space will focus on the discussion about women and non-binary human rights defenders, incorporating an intersectional gender lens on each gender box for 9 ASEAN member states covered in the first thematic report: Dawn of Digital Dictatorship: Weaponizing the Law Against Online Speech in Southeast Asia. The coalition aims to facilitate discussions on situations that do not occur in a vacuum.
