My favorite desk toy as I work from home...and future @DOTSrpg merch (once branded with braille d20 logo in one of the corners!) If you've got the sound on, you can hear the birds outside but NOTHING from the spinner. It's mostly silent, which is perfect for those long zoom calls
Idr everything exactly, but I do remember how my body felt comfort from initiating this movement & how continuing it was like being with earth & my body/spirit. It allowed an emotional release that I didn't think I could get at that moment. Grateful. ๐

I have a theory that the muscles/limbs weโre holding tightly are the ones weโre subconsciously suppressing stimming with. Following that to its logical conclusion: does anyone jaw-stim (as opposed to vocal-stim)? My jaw is constant pain these days. #AskingAutistics #StopDropStim
@steve_asbell This is my most common stim (hitting my legs together repeatedly, which I like to do A LOT.) Itโs either that or Iโm bouncing my legs, flapping my hands, pacing around, or just rocking/flinging my body all over the place. Helps when you have your hands full! ๐ #StopDropStim
