We at FITE (Forum for IT Employees) strongly condemn this inhumane and unethical move. Layoffs without due process or transparency are a violation of employees’ rights and dignity. 🛑 TCS is NOT in financial distress. Layoffs during stable quarters are purely profit-driven. TCS should not directly force employees to resign. Rather it should provide Notice period pay + Severance pay + Insurance continuity for up to 1 year to the affected employees. ✊ We urge all affected employees: ❌Do NOT resign voluntarily. Ask them in written if you were asked to resign. 📝Document everything – emails, calls, meeting notes, performance reports. ⚖️ File a complaint with your State Labour Commissioner. 📞 If you were asked to resign forcefully, contact FITE immediately.
