A suffocating siege on Kobani: The interim authority's factions have imposed a complete siege on the city and its surrounding countryside since January 20th, closing roads and preventing the entry of food, medicine, and fuel, threatening more than 600,000 civilians with a humanitarian catastrophe.
Hospitals are operating at minimal capacity due to shortages of medicine, especially for chronic and emergency illnesses, and baby formula is almost unavailable, leading to increasing malnutrition among children and the elderly.
The siege has also caused a severe shortage of heating materials and disrupted electricity and water services.
Residents are urgently calling for the opening of humanitarian corridors to rescue civilians.

Since yesterday, Kurdish areas and villages have been under attack with heavy weapons by elements of the Damascus government and some ISIS militants. Currently, Turkish airstrikes are targeting the village of Jalabiya in the Kobani countryside.
