دو روز پس از حمله مرگبار بر شیعیان هرات، روز یکشنبه افراد مسلح ناشناس در کویته پاکستان بر شیعیان حمله کردند و دستکم دو نفر را کشتند.
پولیس محلی اعلام کرد که در این حمله دستکم سه نفر دیگر زخمی شدهاند.
دو روز پیش از این رویداد عصر روز جمعه در هرات افراد ناشناس به شیعیان حمله کردند. یوناما تایید کرد که در این رویداد دستکم ۱۱ نفر کشته و ۱۱ نفر دیگر زخمی شدند. تاکنون هیچ گروهی مسئولیت این حملات را به عهده نگرفته است.
लोकतांत्रिक जगत के तथाकथित नेताओं द्वारा एक संप्रभु राष्ट्र के नेतृत्व की लक्षित हत्या और असंख्य निर्दोष लोगों की हत्या पूरी तरह से निंदनीय है और इसकी कड़ी निंदा की जानी चाहिए, चाहे इसके पीछे कोई भी कारण बताया जाए।
