⚠️THIS WILL KILL PEOPLE—Disgusting that @UnitedHealthGrp will now block many colonoscopies using “prior authorization”—doctors are shocked and outraged. Thus, any patient seeking surveillance and diagnostic colonoscopies to detect cancer will first need approval that could delay care by “weeks/months”, if ever—else have to pay out of pocket for $$$$. ➡️Colonoscopy is one of the most sensitive tests currently available for colon cancer screening. Endorsed worldwide—Colonoscopy is the only cancer screening technique that can actually prevent cancer and not just detect it—any delays increase cancer mortality. @UHC basically just told its @askUHC members to roll over and die. @UnitedHealthGrp, and any other insurance that does this, can goto hell. #MedicareForAll #universalhealthcare
