History shows third-party runs rarely succeed and can lead to unintended consequences, like handing power to the left. MAGA needs to stay within the GOP to effect change.โณ #MAGA #StrategicVoting

...well, with our current MP Richard Cannings (NDP) retiring, it looks like the progrogressives and centrists in our riding intend to split the vote and hand it over to the Cons. Unless...

I support strategic voting. Check who has the best chance of beating the CPC in your riding. In most places, it will be Liberal, but in some places, it will be NDP .

HOW-TO-VOTE #StrategicVoting
New Concept: First Thoughts
Previously I had simply suggested putting the ALP 2nd last and LNP last when voting and had not indicated any sequence for the Crossbench candidates other than to put ALL Crossbench ahead of ALPLNP preferencing every Crossbench candidate before ALPLNP.
I've reviewed that strategy and think it can be significantly improved.... and a single HOW-TO-VOTE strategy can be applied in every electorate.
Background: In 27 electorates the @Greens were the largest Crossbench party. In those 27 electorates of the 806,997 total Crossbench votes the Greens got 417,681 votes, or 51.7% of ALL Crossbench votes (see picture 1).
At 806,997 of the total 2,544,712 that gives the Crossbench 31.7% of votes with ALP getting 35.2% and LNP getting 33.1%
So, Greens got 417,681 of the Crossbench's 806,997 total votes or over 50% of Crossbench votes and Crossbench got close to 1/3 of total votes (see picture 2).
IF, the Crossbench had preferenced Greens ahead of ALPLNP, one of the ALP or LNP would have been eliminated and historically when a major party is eliminated its VOTERS preference the Crossbench, NOT the other major party.
My conclusion is Greens could easily have won MOST if not ALL of these 27 electorates...but only won one of them, Brisbane... and not the other 26, but this is on top of the 4 they did win.
Imagine having 30+ Greens on the Crossbench plus another 10+ Independents... 40+ Crossbench.
If the Greens had won all 27 of these seats it would have reduced the LNP by 9 seats and the ALP by 17 leaving the ALP with 60 seats and the LNP with 49.
Talk about a crippled ALP minority and a useless LNP opposition.
So, how do we do this? HOW-TO-VOTE:
Put @Greens 1st of the Crossbench. Put ALL other Crossbench ahead of the ALPLNP uniparty and put them last... IN EVERY ELECTORATE.
This will give us a Crossbench with a powerful anti-genocide @Greens party contingent and likely another 10+ Independents.

And this is why we as progressives have to vote for ABC. Blake Desjarlais (NDP) all the way in Griesbach, and Blair-Marie Coles (Lib) in next door Edmonton- Manning! #Strategicvoting
@TheBreakdownAB The downside is that having excellent liberal AND NDP candidates is splitting the progressive vote. We're going to wind us with Kerry Diotte ๐
This would prevent the vote split in those close ridings, which could lead to CPC winners.
Think about it and share your thoughts. 2/2

@338Canada How much of this dramatic increase in Liberal support is directly tied to the NDPโs collapse in support, Philippe?
