Big question in Subhash Chandra’s insolvency case 👀 A 5-member NCLT bench has now STAYED the Aug 25 order that approved ~₹6.25 cr repayment against ~₹22,006.57 cr admitted personal-guarantee claims. The matter will be heard afresh, and Chandra has been restrained from alienating his properties. If the earlier order was sound, why has a larger bench put it on hold? What exactly will come out when the liabilities, creditor voting, assets and fund trail are examined again? Not calling it wrongdoing. I have been getting haircut on my own for nearly 25 years now. One thing that hasn't changed is going in with a unkempt rugged look, thinking I am going to come out of the haircut as Al Pacino of Godfather 2 and end up coming out as rajpal yadav of bhool bhulaiya, inspite of telling the barber on what I want the hair cut to look like. On seeing the sad after-state, women at home ask what I was doing while the hair was being cut, why didn't I object. How do I explain that it doesn't work that way. You don't speak up to the barber. You silently watch him cut your hair, see it going bad while it's going bad, realise he has bombed it and yet not find the courage to speak up, because you know no amount of course correction can correct the colossal detour from your imagination that has happened!
