Today, we’re bringing you our first round of endorsements for the upcoming Nebraska Primary on May 14th! 🗳
First up, we’re dropping endorsements for our federal races - and what we’re sure will come as absolutely SHOCKING to everyone 😉 - we are endorsing Dan Frei for Nebraska’s Second Congressional District and John Glen Weaver for Senate.
For months, patriots across the state and country pleaded for someone new to run in Nebraska’s Second Congressional District. Dan Frei, no stranger to challenging NE-02’s incumbent, stepped up to the plate and answered the call. As a successful businessman and whole hearted family man, Dan understands that time is of the essence for our country. Dan recognizes that our southern border invasion, ballooning national debt & spending, and overall moral societal decay is crippling our country for generations to come. He knows that DC Loyalists and the Washington Establishment aren't looking out for our families’ best interests - only their own. Dan has the overall courage and fortitude to stand up for Nebraska, say enough is enough, and bring common sense and integrity back to CD2.
From the onset, Lt Col Ret. John Glenn Weaver has run an honorable campaign and barnstormed the entire state, racking up dozens of county party endorsements. With a military career that spanned 22 years and 11 deployments, Weaver isn't afraid to face things head-on. He isn't beholden to the uniparty loyalists that are plaguing our country. We're confident Lt Col Ret. John Glenn Weaver would represent Nebraska well in the United States Senate. As he continues to travel the state and meet with voters face to face, more and more Nebraskans are seeing the same thing. He's right on policy, right on his reasons for running, and right for America.
Both of these men have been endorsed by the Republican Party of Nebraska and we unequivocally support them both in their respective races. We hope they can earn y’all’s support. The candidates that we are endorsing in this primary are those we have had personal conversations with, developed relationships with, seen put in the work on the ground, or that we simply believe to be the best candidates for the job. The exclusion of other candidates for endorsement does not necessarily negate our support for them - we are just withholding endorsements for a very select few candidates this primary season.
