🚨The Government has announced funding for 1,000 Best Start Family Hubs across the country, including £150,259 for family hubs in Bexley.
Today’s announcement is proof that when a Labour MP works with a Labour Government, real change happens.

In Parliament, I asked why the Conservative Government and Council closed Bexley’s Sure Start centres and why our borough never got funding for family hubs.
I'm proud to say that, as a result of this Labour Government, Bexley will finally receive funding to roll out family hubs.

I’m really pleased that we’re going to rebuild the legacy of #SureStart, and I’m excited to see how funding and opportunity can come back to Exeter and places like the Beacon, to support our families and communities.
Today in #PMQs I talked about the massive impact that the Tory dismantling of #SureStart has had on families in #Exeter.
I asked @Keir_Starmer about the positive impact families will feel now that we’re beginning to rebuild that legacy with 1000 new Best Start family centres.
