Funny press-ups to strengthen and slim the body. Preparation for a life in the air. The other one started some later as well. 🥰🐦 #Mauerseglercontent #swiftseason

Windjammer under Segli, our 1st swift. Already pretty grown up that one. Our 2nd swift (Windjammer is the 3rd this summer) moved to a swift rescue center in Frankfurt today to get new feathers. Segli liked to sit on the other one as well.😅 #mauerseglercontent #swiftseason

Windjammer's a very well fed little fellow (on the right). Very shy and quite anxious. But that's totally normal.🥰 #Mauerseglercontent #swiftseason

This is Windjammer, a swift that fell 4 m deep inside their nest! A complete nest their parents built on a beam...bad idea! A sibling didn't survive the fall🥺. Windjammer, my little survivor, weighs phantastic 47g and got a wing length of 11cm🥰. #Mauerseglercontent #swiftseason

Our two swifts in their box preening each other. They sound sooooo sweet and they seemingly never stop their music. Great voice training for their loud and famous sriiiiiiis when in flight. ^^ #Mauerseglercontent #swiftseason

Size comparison.🐦🖐️ It's important not to touch the feathers too much. This one climbed on my hand. 🥰 #Mauerseglercontent #swiftseason

So, look at our sweetest swifties, apus apus.🥺🥰 Both not ready to fly yet due to weird feather loss or other issues created by bad nutrition in the first time of their lifes. They make the sweetest noises, all the time!🐦 #Mauerseglercontent #swiftseason
