#BornOnThisDay, #SyedMujtabaAli was a noted Bengali author, journalist, travel enthusiast, academic, scholar and linguist. He spent a year and a half teaching in Kabul from 1927 to early 1929. Drawing on his experience, #MujtabaAli wrote his iconic travelogue #DesheBideshe.

The name of #PanjshirValley is derived from a beautiful #river. Bengali writer #SyedMujtabaAli's companion in #Afghanistan Abdur Rahman promised to serve #Panjshir fishes, terming it as the tastiest in the world, once the war in late 1920s would over.
