🦊- It's hard to get away with no swords in a #fantasy #book, but I'm going to say no for my #WIP. #Syffox, an archer, has short swords but rarely uses them, and #Palatine, an army Captain, only ever draws his sword, but never uses it in scene. (just realized that now 😋)

It is in the POV of the forest outsider #Palantine and his second in command. I like the alternate view these #characters bring to the heroes. Alas @agoodsentence of @DarlingAxe found the switch in POV too distracting and the scene has been retold from #Syffox's perspective
