Here’s my take on #sn67 #Tenex:
It’s a long-only margin trading protocol.
- LPs deposit $TAO and earn emissions + trading/borrowing fee share.
- Traders use TAO as collateral, borrow more TAO, go long on alpha (only LONG!!!)
- More alpha you hold means the higher leverage of up to 10× + fee discounts.
- 90% of protocol revenue goes to automated alpha buybacks 🔥
- Built-in safeguards: circuit breakers, caps, multi-sig governance 👍
LPs earn yield, traders get leverage, alpha holders see buyback pressure.
The real upside is if #Tenex becomes the default margin layer for the whole eco. Yes, every subnet alpha traded through it. That would create a flywheel:
more adoption -> more fees -> bigger buybacks -> higher alpha demand -> more adoption .
Why it could catch on:
Solves a gap - there’s no other leverage trading in the eco
