Selling my Kenwood TH-D72a. One of the best radios for ham radio satellite ops with its full duplex capabilities. Plus it’s handy as a fill in portable APRS digipeater. I also personally did the MARS mod on it. https://t.co/IUkcIgJ9LB #APRS #AMSAT #SATCOM #HamRadio #THD72a

Trying to get my first FM sat QSO... Sure is fast paced. I need to expand my horizons a bit. These mountains aren’t helping any #amsat #kenwood #thd72a #hamradio #FM19

I finally had a QSO (#K4FEG Frank) on #amsat AO85 with my #THD72a HT. I now declare victory on setting up the HT for portable FM sat work!

One issue with the #amsat LEO Pack to test the #THD72a is you have to know your position before you xmit and takes a while to lock at 0 deg

Connected to #ISS with #THD72a (and my #amsat LEO Pack!) but shows settings are right. Next a contact. Then try it out standing in my field.

Looking for a good tutorial, video or otherwise, that will teach me how to use my #THD72a for #APRS QSOs - local and #ISS #Amsat #hamradio

Success again this morning with SO-50 and the #THD72a with the big antennas....no great passes with AO-85 today but will try the 1920z pass. https://t.co/wu3SSxm8wK

Well, success just now SO50 with the #THD72a - of course it was with my AMSAT LEO Pack antenna system - but still shows the HT works with 50 https://t.co/zmbR5Kj0xQ
