TLDR: the SYSTEM is structurally biased toward NA1, in my opinion.
It protects locked top seeds, prioritizes regional separation over actual team strength, and has made NRG’s path easier at 3 straight LANs.

RLCS seeding is structurally biased toward NA1.
Across Boston, Paris and Worlds 2026, the same thing keeps happening: NRG ends up with a much easier group than EU1 when you measure teams using pre-event RAE instead of official seeds.
