To date, the Vulnerable Artist Fund has assisted 348 vulnerable artist through funds raised by the sale of artworks by artists in #TheLockdownCollection, the #TLCExtensionCollection and the #TLCStudentCollection, as well as direct donations to the fund.
#TLCExtensionCollection, Cape Town based artist Jacki McInnes contributed her works “Five Star” and “Junk Status” to the collection, two works created with shredded decommissioned South African bank notes.
#TLCExtensionCollection artist Vusi Beauchamp shared his work "We Are Happy" as his contribution to the collection. Beauchamp uses his contemporary mixed media painting practice as a socio-political critique with a distinctive and often humorous voice.
