@LynnLimitless I would give the students different parts of the syllabus and mix them up, then the students have to rotate around the room to find the parts of the syllabus that match up. So like two people each have a different part of the cell phone policy, and the have to match up! #TNTtalks

A8: I think having the words up on the word wall is a great help because you can show the students connections from one term to another that they may not discover or may not be as clear from the lessons #TNTtalks

A7: I haven’t done a seating chart yet, although, I believe I would change up the seating chart only if it became a problem. I know some teachers who have lots of success by not changing it at all, and I think it sociologically benefits them not to change #TNTtalks

A6: I have some students who don’t see the point in school, so I try to show them how school is preparing them for the professional world. As well as being honest with them about the long term benefits of education #TNTtalks

@LynnLimitless I need to be better w/Google Classroom. I let coaches know of upcoming projects and tests, and they allow Ss to come to tutoring when needed. It takes a village, and Ss need to know we ALL want them to succeed. #TNTtalks

@LynnLimitless Constant praise in the classroom, nominating Ss weekly for Ss of the wk, positive phone calls, and just genuinely asking how my Ss are doing during the day. Kids know if you're genuine #TNTtalks #year5

A4: Nothing too fancy this year, but in the future I would like to something that another teacher at my school does called “Syllabus Speed Dating!” As a fun icebreaker where they can have fun, meet people they may not know and learn the procedures. #TNTtalks
