Your so-called Prime Minister, #Abiy Ahmed, is not only a delusional brute with a hoodlum mindset, but—as his own former State Minister #TayeDendea (now himself imprisoned) once aptly described him—“a blood-thirsty butcher who promised so much yet betrayed the #Ethiopian people.”
This is the man who has presided over unimaginable suffering and national tragedy:
-The deaths of tens of thousands of citizens across the country
-The forced displacement of hundreds of thousands from #Sheger and #Addis Ababa
-The torture, disappearance, and mistreatment of political prisoners and members of the free press.
-The devastation and mass killings in #Amhara and #Oromia
-Widespread sexual violence, including rape and gang rape, inflicted on women in #Amhara and #Tigray as now confiremd by evidence based and credible international reports.
- A state apparatus that systematically destroys communities instead of serving them
These are not isolated incidents—they reflect a pattern of brutality, deception, and total betrayal of public trust by none other than #AbiyAhmed, the scoundrel abrute from #Beshasha.
We can furnish an abundance of proof—countless victims, documented atrocities, and a vast trail of destruction—demonstrating the sheer scale and brutality of the crimes committed. The evidence is overwhelming, undeniable, and morally damning.
These are just few among plethora:

Understanding Diplomacy: A Response to Misguided Accusations by Andargachew Tsige
It is unfortunate that Mr. Andargachew, at this stage of his life and at the end of his service, is so desperate for power that he turns every stone to discredit the Prime Minister of Ethiopia.
Mr. Andargachew, for someone who lived in both Ethiopian and Western societies, it is surprising to see you misrepresent both cultures just to attack the Prime Minister. You criticize him simply for being friendly with other leaders, as if normal diplomacy is something inappropriate or suspicious.
Let’s set the record straight.
1. Warm greetings are part of Ethiopian culture
Friendliness is not foreign to us. Ethiopians traditionally greet with warmth—even men kiss each other on the cheek as a sign of brotherhood and respect. Pretending that a cordial interaction with another leader is something shameful is a denial of your own cultural roots.
2. Diplomacy requires friendliness everywhere—not just in Ethiopia
World leaders shake hands, smile, and show courtesy even when their countries disagree.
This isn’t “complicity”; it’s diplomacy.
If such simple gestures were a crime, then nearly every Western leader—past and present—would be guilty. Engagement is how nations communicate, prevent conflict, and build cooperation.
3. Throwing around accusations without verified evidence is reckless
You cite allegations as if they are established facts, without due process or independent investigation. That does not help victims or justice. It only fuels political agendas at the expense of Ethiopia’s dignity.
4. A handshake with the UK Prime Minister is not an endorsement of wrongdoing
The UK shakes hands with leaders from countries facing conflict or internal allegations all the time—Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan, Israel, and many others.
Not because they support everything those nations do, but because diplomacy demands engagement, not emotional grandstanding.
5. Ethiopia deserves fairness—not politicized attacks
Reducing Ethiopia’s complex realities to dramatic statements for Western applause does nothing to build peace or stability. A handshake is a diplomatic courtesy, not a moral judgment.
Trying to turn a routine diplomatic moment into a scandal only shows desperation, not principle.
Ethiopia needs sober, responsible voices—not theatrics and exaggerated claims designed to provoke outrage.
I shared his picture to show how this Prime Minister worked tirelessly to get him off death row. He may have forgotten, but we all remember the relief and joy of seeing him free. Disagreeing politically is one thing, but stooping this low just because things didn’t go Mr. Andargachew’s way is disgraceful.

The price of dissent in #Ethiopia: Former State Minister #TayeDendea’s court ruling postponed again — nearly two years after his arrest for criticizing Abiy Ahmed. Even as #EHRC confirms rights violations, justice remains deferred.
#Ethiopia: Taye Dendea’s court rulingpostponed; #EHRC finding confirming the defendant’s rights violation awaited on next hearing
Former State Minister of the Ministry of Peace, #Taye Dendea, reappeared before the Lideta Division of the Federal High Court on 23 October 2025, but the court postponed his hearing, furthermore the court is yet to hand out ruling concerning human rights violations confirmed by the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC).
Abera Nigus, Taye’s lawyer, told Addis Standard that the court had initially scheduled to deliver its verdict on 23 October 2025, following a previous hearing on 6 August. During the latest session, the court said it had not yet completed the ruling and postponed the verdict to 3 November, stating, “there are still matters regarding this judgment that we have not finalized.”
Abera described the charges against Taye as straightforward, noting that evidence from both sides was clear. “This ruling should have been concluded last month. My client is entitled under the law to a timely judgment,” he said, adding that they requested the court to issue a decision before the end of October.
Taye was initially arrested in December 2023, a day after being dismissed from his ministerial post following public criticism of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. He faces three charges: providing moral and verbal support to armed groups deemed enemies by the government; assisting attempts to overthrow the government by force; and possession of illegal weapons.

Mr. #TayeDendea, former Vice Minister of Peace, revealed that #AbiyAhmed told him: “I am destroying Amhara.” Since April 2023, Abiy’s regime has launched a full-scale war using drones targeting Amhara civilians and infrastructure.
This is not a conflict. It’s #AmharaGenocide.

The fearlessness of #TayeDendea in exposing what #AbiyAhmedAli tried to confide in him - that his goal is to “eradicate” #Amhara - is beyond admirable. #TayeDendra’s strong conscience meant that he couldn’t hide #AbiyAhmedAli’s wicked agenda from the Ethiopian people. And so, Taye exposed Abiy’s agenda at a huge personal cost to himself (imprisonment) and his immediate family.
Just in case anyone has missed gravity of the matter here, I repeat it: The Head of the Ethiopian “Government” @AbiyAhmedAli has confided in his ex-Minster of Peace (#TayeDendea) he is working to eradicate #Amhara! Try to comprehend this most wicked and incomprehensible goal of a Head of “Government”: “Eradication” of one of the largest population groups in Ethiopia. Is there a greater crime to humanity? But, where is the outrage? How do we let one evil monster turn everything upside down for 120 million people?
Hopefully, this expose will be THE watershed moment that galvanises the Ethiopian people to reclaim their nation for a peaceful coexistence where rule of law reigns supreme.
#AbiyAhmed, you can no longer deceive the #Ethiopian people with empty rhetoric. Your monstrosity is exposed beyond doubt. #TayeDendea has, once and for all, laid bare your years of sinister plots and evil deeds, all hidden behind the “man of the people” mask you’ve worn for seven long years.
In today’s meeting, four members of the #EPRP Executive Committee walked out—this was no dialogue, but your usual monologue: arrogant, ignorant, and laced with lies. Now you’ve even legalized torture to terrorize genuine opposition and deepen the fear you’ve spread across this wretched land.
All your staged meetings and public bravado mask deep-seated fear and anxiety—and the Ethiopian people see right through it. The evil you have done will come back to haunt you sooner rather than later.
As a reminder here is what you said in public about your former masters, accusing them of committing terror and torture. https://t.co/DBizu5d6Dx

The hidden agenda of @AbiyAhmedAli is slowly being exposed. One of his own former cabinet members, #TayeDendea revealed details about secret meetings and the real motivations behind #Ethiopia's internal conflicts. Taye, now prison, admitted that many of the crises were not accidents but part of a larger political scheme. When someone from the inside starts speaking out, you know the truth is hard to hide.

Opening up the political space was a pivotal decision we made in 2018. Since then, we have worked to foster a democratic environment—shifting from a long-standing posture of viewing parties as opposition to embracing them as legitimate competitors. This transformation is grounded in the belief that nurturing a culture of peaceful political contestation is vital to Ethiopia’s future.
In line with this commitment, we have sustained ongoing dialogue platforms over the years with the numerous political parties registered by the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia. Once again, as part of a series of stakeholder consultations I have been conducting over the past week, today’s discussions continued with political parties to gather input on the various concerns they raise on behalf of their constituencies.

#TayeDendea is a true Oromo nationalist. #Shimeles and #Abiye are using the Oromo people to comfort their personal privilege like #TPLF did with #Tigray people.

#OromiaPP and it's supporters, for example, #TayeDendea, #DerejeGerefa, #SulemanDedefo, have become the main forces behind the genocidal #WarOnTigray.
Any prospect of peacefully resolving the Tigray-Ethiopia deadlock makes the PFDJ & OPDO camps awfully triggered. These actors of the Genocide want the bloodshed to continue as both are profiting from the unrest & misery. Tweets by @DendeaTaye & Sulieman Dedefo are case in point.

There is a desperation among z #Oromo & misunderstanding how #OPDO operates. #Angassa's video isn't released without z approval of #Abiy. What it means is that #PP's #WarOnOromia has failed & #Abiy wants a new donkey AKA #TayeDendea & also someone to blame for all z crimes by #PP
