DO 👏 NOT 👏 TALGATE 👏 A 👏 TRUCK. people have no idea how dangerous that is if I have to suddenly brake. As well, I cannot see you. #driverperspective #tdotstips

Wednesday, December 4 as I was leaving the city. No time to flinch, just come off the gas pedal and lay down the airhorn. #Tdotstips this is not how you pass a transport truck in any condition #DriverPerspective

This technology also automatically applies my service brakes (normal braking) and adjusts my cruise control if it is on. Cutting to close in front me me can activate these features as well affecting traffic behind me if they are activated too rapidly. #drivesafely #tdotstips

#DidYouKnow that my truck is equipped with technology that warns me audibly and visually when getting too close to other traffic in front of me? Please do not cut right in front of a truck, you do not realize how fast this activates this technology. #givespace #tdotstips 1/2

As a professional driver, I have 7 mirrors to check before making a safe lane change. Even still, you can be in a blind spot making that lane change very dangerous. Drive safely and stay clear of transport trucks for the safety of everyone #tdotstips #ontario #safety #RoadSafety

Taking a page from @PCPappy and #pappystips I am going to be starting a segment called #tdotstips bringing awareness to safety around transport trucks on the road. First one: winter weather approaching, make sure you are visible so we can both get home safely.
