Congratulations @TeelingWhiskey ๐ still can't believe we were lucky enough to get all of our members a sample of the 28 Year Old when it first came out! #Teeling28
A big CONGRATULATIONS to @TeelingWhiskey on landing the top rating for an Irish Whiskey at the prestigious International Wine & Spirit Competition - IWSC 2020 with their Teeling 28 Y/O, scoring an impressive 96/100 and bringing home the Gold Medal. Available at CWS ๐

@TeelingWhiskey I wish to complain, @CelticWhiskeyCl only half filled my sample. I think he kept it for himself!!! ๐ #Teeling28

@CelticWhiskeyCl @TeelingWhiskey Thanks for that treat and a great one to be my first #TweetTasting with the club. Slainte #TeelingBrabazon3 #Teeling28
So it sounds like we've all run out of our samples already! What a good sign of some great whiskeys!!! #Teeling28 #TeelingBrabazon3
@CelticWhiskeyCl @TeelingWhiskey 100%. I'm raiding the piggy bank at the moment to buy a bottle of #teeling28 but let's not forget the #teelingbrabazon3 which I was very impressed by. 2 excellent examples of why Irish whiskey is held in such high regard
@CelticWhiskeyCl @TeelingWhiskey Really enjoyed my first #tweettasting with @CelticWhiskeyCl thanks for experience #teeling28 #TeelingBrabazon3
Sadly I'm all out of samples! #Teeling28 old money refined #TeelingBrabazon3 new money showing off. Both gorgeous in their own ways @CelticWhiskeyCl Only one I can afford though!
Well they really were fantastic! Thanks so much to everyone for coming on tonight and sharing your thoughts, some great insights from all of youโฆ itโll be hard to top this #TweetTasting, so a BIG thank you to @Teelingwhiskey for making this possible! #Teeling28 #TeelingBrabazon3
@CelticWhiskeyCl @TeelingWhiskey Coming back for a second sniff (well why wouldnโt you?), the hint of dessert wine coalesces into a full wine cellar of oak and that aroma of long evaporations. Feels like there should be a cheeseboard on the way. #Teeling28
@freedgull @CelticWhiskeyCl It's a smell I would expect from something that has been in a barrel for 28 years! Almost feel like I'm in the barrel house if I close my eyes.

Agree @CelticWhiskeyCl - lots of stone fruits, that hint of marzipan, figs, liqueur chocolate. Long dried fruit and grassy finish ๐๐ฅ๐ @TeelingWhiskey #teeling28 #TweetTasting
@CelticWhiskeyCl @TeelingWhiskey the Brabazon aroma is still lingering in the background, so wood and candied peel and toasted nuts with a touch of smoke all there on the nose, but behind it, thereโs an old book, slight mustiness that evens out to a honeyed Sauternes. #Teeling28
@CelticWhiskeyCl @TeelingWhiskey I have very little experience of whiskeys in this bracket but on first impressions this is spectacular. Congratulations on making a great one!

@TeelingWhiskey @CelticWhiskeyCl I'm getting lovely leather & tobacco #Teeling28 on the 2nd sip. Pure joy!
@CelticWhiskeyCl There is so much complexity to this I think you need to send everyone another sample so we can get in depth tasting notes

The finish is really pleasantly long and full. Extremely well balanced and mellow... deliciously sweet spice! #Teeling28 #TweetTasting
#teeling28 im getting honey and smoke on the tongue.. it's the kind of whiskey I don't want to share with anyone and keep to myself but tell people I have it @CelticWhiskeyCl @TeelingWhiskey #tweettasting #teeling28
Now that's a class #whiskey #Teeling28 Balanced, refined, rich dark fruits & a lovely woody spice to boot all wrapped up in a smooth silky delivery @CelticWhiskeyCl
