What do these fish tell us?
1. Possibly one dead fish (no detections)
2. Different movement patterns:
a. Local movers (only in the Berg)
b.Regional movers (Berg + nearby)
c. Coastal movers (greater than 1 000 km)

Six leervis (650-859 mm FL) were tagged in the Berg Estuary in Feb 2018 (also our furthest-west estuarine deployment). Results?
- Five animals detected
- Almost 26 500 detections
- Recorded on 42 stations covering 1 250 km

Researchers from ORI @saambr tagged 37 kaakap between Dec' 2013 and Dec' 2017. All but six tags have expired and > 170 000 detections have been recorded โ thatโs a pretty decent start for learning a bit more about their movements.
