Madhya Pradesh Gears Up to Become Global Textile Hub.
Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh is advancing rapidly to emerge as a global hub for the apparel and textile industry. Guided by the Prime Minister’s 5F Vision – Farm to Fibre, Fibre to Factory, Factory to Fashion, and Fashion to Foreign – the state is building an integrated textile value chain that connects local strength to global markets.
At the heart of this transformation is the PM MITRA Park in Dhar, spread over 2,177 acres, for which the foundation stone will soon be laid by Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi. Even before its foundation, the project has attracted investment intents worth over ₹16,000 crore. With advanced plug-and-play facilities, modern testing labs, warehousing, and seamless multi-modal connectivity, the park is designed to elevate Madhya Pradesh’s textile sector to new global benchmarks.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that “Made in MP – Wear Across the World” is not just a slogan but the state’s industrial mission — ensuring that Madhya Pradesh’s textiles and garments gain a strong foothold in international markets.
With a robust base of GOTS-certified organic cotton, surplus green energy, streamlined single-window approvals, and progressive incentives, the state is offering investors a sustainable and competitive ecosystem.
An MoU with the Buyer Sourcing Leaders (BSL) will further integrate sourcing, design, logistics, and skill development, while leading global brands including HanesBrands, PVH Corp, Puma, and Mothercare have already recognized Madhya Pradesh’s potential.
With policy innovation, global partnerships, and an inclusive growth agenda, Madhya Pradesh is on course to become the world’s preferred sourcing and production hub for textiles.
