All of this plastic plus balloon bits with strings attached came out of Bob, the green turtle. We all need to do what we can to #ProtectBobsHome and keep plastic out of the ocean #TheFlipperEffect.
Although plastic is often made to be used just once in the form of packaging or convenience items, it can last thousands of years in our oceans!
When Bob returns to the ocean, we will no longer be able to protect him from the human-made hazards that resulted in his need for rehabilitation - so, it is up to all of us to make a difference. We need to protect Bob's home. π’ #TheFlipperEffect #ProtectBobsHome
