5593. #TheJackBennyProgram "Gary Crosby Show" - Poor Gary, not just for his upbringing, but for the fact that none of his family members backed him up. This repeats a lot of the same jokes as the Liberace ep from the year before. The whole ep feels stilted & weird. (C)

5591. #TheJackBennyProgram "The Four O'clock in the Morning Show" - One of the purer "sitcom" eps of this show, no variety elements, heck, barely any acknowledgement that Jack's in show business at all. Pretty generic script in that way, could be used for any show, really. (B-)

5590. #TheJackBennyProgram "Jam Session at Jack's" - Lotta guest stars in this one, thus the screenshot. This one doesn't spend a lot of time on applause & the guests playing this hits, which leads to more funny (mostly jokes about how cheap Jack is). (A-)

5588. #TheJackBennyProgram "Jack Dreams He's Married to Mary" - Pretty easy to dream about something that was real. This is clearly a re-use of a radio script, almost none of the jokes are visual. The dream part's a pretty typical 40's family radio sitcom. (B-)
