π Gearboxes assembled, next up was adding the wheels & to test fit the whole unit in the new shiny drive pods!
π€ Wheels were machined down to fit otherwise they'd be a tad wide.
π Next step was addition of the electronics & batteries for a test drive π²

π₯ Alongside the welding & angle grinding to make the drive pods & weapon bulkhead of Monsoon Mk.3, we were refining the design of our new shiny new gearboxes!

π₯So a few angle grinding discs later and Monsoon Mk.3 has two completed drive pods and a weapon bulkhead section.
π€ͺNext step was to test fit some of the key components including a ........ WHYACHI SWITCH!

π¨Clamps done with & 2 of the drive pods are welded up as well as most of a weapon bulkhead!
π₯Now for more angle grinding, more welding & more tea!

π This was the 1st chasis pod to be clamped together after all the grinding and filing we showd you in the time lapse video!

π The big pallets of metal we recieve to make Monsoon have to be test fitted before they are welded together.

π¦They were our 1st and 2nd deliveries of water jet cut hardox in varying thickness. These are fitted & welded together to make Monsoon MK3 (think of it as an advanced @Meccano)
