With the last fix update for now for #TheVolcano Premium, i'm pretty happy with the state of the map. With now 2 custom bosses, a new mini challenge,
a big snow area and underwater bosses there's a lot to do. For the next big content update there are plans to rework the swamp area and the ocean part of the desert,
also unlock a new island and a new custom boss.
The free version of #TheVolcano will also get a update this week. This includes some fixes, optimizations and additions. So player of the free version will also have a few new things to do.
Also #Amissa is not forgotten. A rework update is in the works to bring a face lift, better performance and no crashes. This update will take a long time and a rough ETA is March, but that is not 100%. If that is changing i'll let you know.

After a long time the new content update for #TheVolcano Premium is online.
**Patch Notes Map Version 13**
!!Final change to artifact caves.
They're now not buildable and also a small area around the entrance of such caves. That is for PvE and PvP. Current bases in such caves will get huge damage.
Right now it's the only way to give everyone the same chance to progress on the map unofficial and official. I'm open for a better solution. !!
- unlocked snow island
- changed Ext. island to have a more natural shape
- changed the mesh for map borders and map ceiling
- opened up the ocean to help shasta to spawn(now fixed)
- moved ice wyverns to the new snow island
- added new custom boss (Bull Emperor, rewards like Gorilla)
- added 3 new artifact caves
- added a few new buildable caves(in the new snow area)
- added Elderclaw
- added Megaraptor
- added Deinonychus
- added Ice Titan
- added underwater mini boss
(just a bigger and meaner megalodon)
- introducing the first Mini Challenge
(easy and nothing special, to test how you guys like it. There are more coming and different)
- copied some rock materials to the map folder for a temp fix, because WC did some changes, until the new dev kit is available to make a final fix
- fixed some mesh holes
Known issues:
- Manticore not attacking
- some parts of the ocean is missing foliage and stuff
- some part of the new snow area are still a bit empty

公式サーバーで遊んでるけど、過剰な人口密度じゃないから、柱も無く人もゆったりしてみんな優しいし☺️

Just released the last fixes for the free version of #TheVolcano for #ASA and will continue working of the premium version. Release for that sometimes in March i hope.
Release of the premium version will have 2 new custom bosses, huge extinction wasteland area and more coming after that.

Here a quick clarification regarding the free and premium version of #TheVolcano
There was never a plan that the free version will be the same as the ASE version. The free version will have:
- playable map size as it is right now(without the outer islands)
- 3 caves (1 more is coming)
- dinos from the island, SE, AB and Extinction but not all of them
- 1 boss incl. Ascention
- all other stuff to enjoy the map to be fully playable
The Premium version will have:
- everything from the free version
- bigger playable map, means the outer islands will be populated
- more dinos from the vanilla maps added
- more caves incl. underwater caves
- 3 maybe 4 custom bosses
- more custom map stuff
- 1 new biome

My 2nd ASA map #TheVolcano was released on Dec 13th and reached almost 11k downloads so far. Thank you guys for the support for the map, it's just breathtaking.
For the free version there will be 1 more update to add some Extinction creatures and after that i will start working on the premium version.

As promised fix update for #TheVolcano map is out.
Patch Notes Map Version 31
- reduced the foliage in the small AB cave to optimize performance in there
- fixed hole in the desert landscape
- fixed loot crates not spawning in the caves
- fixed dinos spawns in the big AB cave
- fixed cherry trees to strech out
- fixed lighting in the big AB cave
- moved the gas vein out of the big AB cave on to the lava island
- added oilveins to the desert and lava island
- added water veins to the desert

With the last work and tests this week for the release of #TheVolcano map for #ASA , i will share what to come.
I will release The Volcano first as a free version and sometimes later as a premium version.
For the free version the entire landmass is playable with almost all dinos available in ASA, some will be added a bit later. Also there will be 3 caves and 1 boss in the free version. For the release there will be 2 caves the 3rd will be added in a update later.
For the premium version there will be also 4 outer landmasses with more content, more caves, custom bosses and map buildings and many more.
There's also a Additions mod in the works, but because of right now not fixable issues it will be delayed until the issues can be fixed.
