We LOVED being part of the #ThousandYearTree project celebrating Surrey's trees, books, and art!
The templates handed in our libraries were incredible, and we're super proud of all children taking part. Congratulations to the winners!
The Thousand Year Tree book is now printed, inc the endpapers from young artists across Surrey whose designs were chosen. We were blown away by the response to this competition run jointly with our colleagues @SurreyLibraries with 620 entries & judges having to choose 4!
Tomorrow (4 Sep) is the last day for all children aged 4-11 to return #ThousandYearTree templates to their local library!
The winning artwork will be featured on the inside covers of a new book by Lucy Reynolds & Katie Hickey. Runner up prizes include books & bookshop tokens!
