I just finished up a carpal stressing sprint for Tile38. Its memory usage has been cut nearly in half, includes a fancy new floating-point bit packer, and it's about 5% faster (cause slow software sucks).

I'm getting so close to completing the new point-in-polygon logic for Tile38. It should be ready by next Friday. If all goes well, a PIP on a polygon will be roughly O(logN). As a result, testing for a point in the great state of Arizona (1600+ pts) will go from 50K/sec to 2M/sec
