#PatekPhilippe were part of the Swiss Beta 21 Quartz Development project, and being Patek they delivered this absolute beauty with the familiar Ellipsoid dial shape. It's white gold and from the early 1970s.

Sometimes the simplest watches can be beautiful. This Trench Watch designed for battlefield use during World War I has a stunning enamel dial, great proportions, and a big crown for gloved hands.
